Position: Safety/Traffic Controller

Location: North High School

Start date: ASAP

Pay Scale: $1700 Stipend/Trimester

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of students, staff and motorists by directing traffic and pedestrian flow
• Identify safety hazards
• Collect information on vehicles that violate traffic rules
• Other duties as assigned by building administration
• Partner with school administration and district transportation

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or some college
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Effective communication skills

• Ability to maintain the security and privacy of all information, transactions and discussion of sensitive topics.
• Considerable ability to work under pressure and address safety concerns as needed.
