Safety&Environmental Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall environmental, health, and safety compliance management of the factory, strictly implementing the Thai Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Act B.E.2554 (2011) and the latest risk assessment regulations of the Ministry of Labor in 2025, coordinating the factory's EHS risk control, government compliance, certification management, system operation, accident control, and emergency management, ensuring that the factory meets all legal requirements of the Thai Ministry of Labor DLPW, Ministry of Industry DIW, and Ministry of Environment PCD 100%, ensuring zero major violations and zero major safety accidents of the factory, supporting the continuous and effective operation of ISO45001 and ISO14001 systems, and smoothly passing annual audits and re certifications.

Compensation package:

Basic salary: 45,000-55,000THB monthly;

Annual bonus: 2 months basic salary;

Annual salary adjustment: General pay rise of 3%–5% will be reviewed every year.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee safety and environmental policies, procedures and protocols across all operational areas
• Conduct regular safety audits and environmental assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
• Investigate workplace incidents and environmental incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with local, national and international environmental regulations, standards and legislation applicable to our operations
• Provide safety and environmental training to employees at all levels, promoting a strong culture of safety awareness
• Design and manage waste management and pollution control systems to minimise environmental impact
• Monitor and maintain environmental monitoring equipment and systems
• Prepare environmental impact assessments and safety reports for management and regulatory authorities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety and environmental considerations into operational planning and project development
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging environmental technologies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Environmental Management System (EMS) certification or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in safety and environmental engineering roles
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and waste management practices
• Proficiency in environmental assessment methodologies and risk assessment techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across all organisational levels
• Proficiency in relevant software and monitoring systems
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Thai language is advantageous
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
