Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations, to accurately diagnose health issues.
• Develop personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress with attention to safety and efficacy.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions across various settings, including primary care clinics, nursing homes, hospice environments, and home care visits.
• Utilize clinical research findings and evidence-based practices to inform diagnosis and treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with specialists in areas such as ICU care, public health, medical imaging, and anatomy to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Administer medications safely and effectively while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Engage in patient education initiatives to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
• Maintain detailed medical records, document clinical encounters accurately, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement projects focused on enhancing patient outcomes across senior care, hospice services, or home care settings.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice as a General Practitioner.
• Proven experience in clinical research or evidence-based medicine practices is highly desirable.
• ICU experience or familiarity with critical care protocols is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical imaging techniques.
• Experience providing patient care in diverse environments such as nursing homes, senior care facilities, hospice programs or home health services.
• Skilled in medication administration with a focus on safety protocols.
• Background in public health initiatives or community health programs is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their health conditions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient-centered care.
