Salaried General Practitioner

Job Overview
As a Salaried General Practitioner, you will provide safe, compassionate primary care, assessing patients’ needs and coordinating appropriate treatment. You will work with patients and colleagues to support continuity of care across community and clinical settings.

Duties

• Assess patients, take clinical histories, make diagnoses and agree suitable care plans.
• Prescribe and administer medication where appropriate, monitor progress and arrange referrals or follow-up.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate clearly with patients, families and the wider care team.
• Apply relevant knowledge of public health, anatomy and medical imaging when assessing needs and planning care.
• Your impact: Timely, coordinated care helps patients understand their options and access appropriate support.

Skills

• Required: relevant medical qualification, current registration to practise in the UK, and strong clinical judgement and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in patient care and medication administration.
• Clinical research experience and knowledge of public health, anatomy or medical imaging are useful.
• Experience in ICU, nursing homes, senior care, hospice care or home care is welcomed, but not essential.

Salary:
£11,50 p/session per annum
