About the role

We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis in Melaka. This is a pivotal position that bridges our sales and operations functions, playing a crucial role in supporting our sales team and ensuring seamless coordination between client requirements and our warehouse and distribution capabilities. The Sales Coordinator will be instrumental in maintaining strong client relationships, processing orders efficiently, and contributing to the growth of our business in the warehousing and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and process sales orders, ensuring accurate data entry and timely communication with operations teams
• Liaise between clients and internal departments to confirm service availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
• Prepare quotations and proposals based on client requirements and company pricing guidelines
• Maintain comprehensive records of sales transactions, client communications, and order status updates
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with services and identify opportunities for additional business
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and reporting
• Monitor inventory levels and warehouse capacity to provide accurate information to clients and the sales team
• Handle client enquiries via email, phone, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner
• Prepare sales reports and performance metrics to support management decision-making
• Collaborate with the distribution and logistics teams to resolve any operational issues affecting client deliveries

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in business administration, logistics, or a related field are advantageous
• Proven experience as a Sales Coordinator, sales administrator, or similar role within the logistics, warehousing, or distribution industry
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or customer relationship management (CRM) software is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations and terminology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
