Regular travel throughout the assigned territory is expected to support customers, prospects, trade events, trials, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in food, medical, industrial, and related flexible packaging markets.
· Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, converters, purchasing teams, engineers, operations leaders, and packaging decision-makers.
· Recommend flexible packaging solutions based on customer applications, performance needs, materials, barrier requirements, packaging capabilities, and end-use environments.
· Prepare and present proposals, quotations, product recommendations, and sales presentations.
· Coordinate internally with customer service, marketing, quality, and product development teams to support customer requirements.
· Manage sample requests, product trials, specifications, timelines, and follow-up activities through commercialization.
· Maintain accurate account plans, opportunity pipelines, forecasts, call reports, and CRM activity.
· Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, plant visits, trade shows, and industry events.
*Required Qualifications
· Minimum of three years of successful B2B sales experience in flexible packaging, packaging materials, films, converted products, or a closely related industry.
· Demonstrated experience selling into food, medical, and/or industrial packaging applications.
· Proven ability to prospect, develop new accounts, manage existing relationships, and close business.
· Strong technical curiosity and ability to understand packaging structures, materials, specifications, applications, and customer performance requirements.
· Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Ability to manage a large geographic territory with discipline, organization, and consistent follow-up.
· Comfortable using CRM type systems, Microsoft Office tools, and sales reporting processes.
· Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the western United States.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience selling custom films, roll stock, high barrier packaging and industrial films for multiple applications.
· Knowledge of food packaging, medical packaging, industrial packaging, and related quality or regulatory considerations.
· Existing customer relationships within western U.S. packaging markets.
· Experience coordinating technical sales projects from initial discovery through sampling, trials, approval, and production launch.
· Background selling to manufacturers, converters, distributors, processors, healthcare-related customers, or industrial end users.
