Position Title: Sales Administrator

Department: Sales & Operations

Reports To: Sales Manager / Agency Director

Position Summary

The Sales Administrator supports our team of life insurance agents and ensures clients have a smooth experience from application to policy approval. You will handle daily paperwork, communicate with insurance underwriters, and assist clients with policy updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Processing: Submit new life insurance applications, track their status, and ensure all forms are completed correctly.
• Underwriting Support: Collect required client information (such as medical records or lab test schedules) and follow up with underwriters to speed up approval.
• Agent Assistance: Prepare policy quotes, illustrations, presentation materials, and sales packets for agents before client meetings.
• Client Service: Answer client questions about policy status, premium payments, address changes, and beneficiary updates.
• Policy Maintenance: Process policy changes, payments, and annual policy reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1–2 years of office, customer service, or administrative experience (experience in life insurance or financial services is a plus).

• Skills:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and client databases/CRMs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
  • Friendly, clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to handle confidential client health and financial information securely.

• Licensing: Active Life & Health license is a plus, but not required.
