SALES ADMIN (CONTRACTUAL)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, detailed-oriented Sales Associate to handle front-line customer transactions, operate our Point of Sale (POS) system, and ensure total accuracy with sales receipts and daily cash balances. The ideal candidate will combine efficient cashiering skills with excellent customer service, ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute POS Transactions: Process customer purchases accurately using the POS terminal, barcode scanners, and card readers.
• Handle Payment Types: Accept and process cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay), and split payments.
• Issue & Manage Receipts: Print, inspect, and present receipts to customers; offer digital/email receipt options where applicable.
• Transaction Adjustments: Perform valid discounts, apply promotional promo codes, issue store credit, and process returns or exchanges strictly according to company store policy.
• Audit & Reconcile Receipts: Match total daily register receipts against cash, card, and electronic payment logs at the end of every shift; investigate and report minor discrepancies.
