Sales Administrator

About the role

The Sales Administrator provides administrative, operational, and customer service support to the sales team to ensure efficient order processing, accurate sales reporting, and exceptional customer service. The role serves as a key liaison between customers, sales personnel, and internal departments, supporting business growth through effective coordination and data management.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming purchase orders accurately and promptly
• Ensure all sales orders are entered and maintained correctly in SAP
• Monitor order status and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely fulfillment
• Maintain accurate customer records, key account information, and important business dates
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries relating to orders, deliveries, and account support
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and responsive service
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
• Generate sales analyses and management reports as required
• Update and maintain customer and sales databases within SAP
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments

About you

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline
