What they need

About PureJewels

PureJewels is an independent family jewellery house with a heritage spanning generations.

Our philosophy is Celebrating Journeys. We create and curate jewellery that combines beautiful design, skilled craftsmanship and meaningful stories, helping our clients mark the moments that matter in their lives.

We believe good jewellery retail is built on trust, knowledge and genuine human connection. Our approach is consultative rather than high pressure, and we are looking for someone who understands the importance of both exceptional service and commercial results.

The Role

We are looking for a confident, personable and commercially minded Sales Advisor to join our retail team.

You will work directly with clients, understand what they are looking for and guide them through our jewellery collections with warmth, knowledge and professionalism.

This is a customer facing role for someone who enjoys speaking with people, takes pride in presentation and service, and wants to develop a career within jewellery and luxury retail.

Previous jewellery experience is helpful but not essential. Attitude, communication skills, reliability and the willingness to learn are equally important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and create a warm, professional and relaxed experience from the moment they enter the showroom.
  • Listen carefully to clients and understand their needs, preferences, occasion and budget before recommending appropriate pieces.
  • Develop strong knowledge of PureJewels collections, precious metals, diamonds, gemstones, craftsmanship and the stories behind our jewellery.
  • Present jewellery confidently and explain its design, craftsmanship and value in a clear and engaging way.
  • Build genuine client relationships and maintain contact with clients before and after purchases.
  • Work towards individual and team sales objectives while maintaining PureJewels’ service standards.
  • Identify appropriate opportunities to introduce complementary pieces without using high pressure selling techniques.
  • Respond professionally to enquiries received by telephone, WhatsApp, email and other digital channels.
  • Process transactions accurately and use our retail and stock management systems.
  • Assist with merchandising, presentation, stock control and maintaining the overall appearance of the showroom.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider team.
  • Follow company procedures relating to security, stock handling, customer information and store operations.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A naturally warm and confident manner with customers.
  • Good listening skills and the ability to understand what a customer is really looking for.
  • A professional appearance and attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in developing sales skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality and good organisational skills.
  • Confidence using computers and digital communication tools.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn about jewellery, craftsmanship and the PureJewels brand.

Experience in jewellery, luxury retail, fashion, hospitality or another customer focused environment would be advantageous, but we are equally interested in candidates with strong potential who are looking to build their career.

Working at PureJewels

This is not a high pressure sales environment.

We expect our advisors to build trust, understand the customer and provide knowledgeable advice. Commercial performance matters, but so does how that performance is achieved.

You will receive training in our collections, jewellery knowledge, customer experience and our approach to selling.

If you enjoy working with people, have strong personal standards and would like to develop within an independent jewellery business with a distinctive heritage, we would like to hear from you.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
