About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our team at our Tawau District location in Sabah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and building lasting customer relationships. As a Sales Advisor, you will be at the forefront of our business, representing TSM Automobile Sdn Bhd and helping customers find the perfect vehicle to meet their needs. Your expertise and interpersonal skills will directly contribute to our success and reputation in the Tawau District market.

What you'll be doing

1. Greet and welcome customers to the showroom, creating a positive and professional first impression
2. Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and preferences for vehicles
3. Present and demonstrate vehicle features, specifications, and benefits to prospective buyers
4. Provide accurate information regarding pricing, financing options, warranties, and after-sales services
5. Negotiate sales terms and close deals in a professional and ethical manner
6. Prepare and process sales documentation and customer contracts
7. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals
8. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using company systems
9. Stay updated on current vehicle inventory, new models, and promotional campaigns
10. Work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments to achieve sales targets
11. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally

What we're looking for

1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification; further education or sales qualifications are advantageous
2. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry or a related customer-facing sales environment
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
4. Strong negotiation and closing abilities with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
5. Product knowledge of vehicles, including specifications, features, and competitive advantages
6. Customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
8. Proficiency in using sales management systems and Microsoft Office applications
9. Valid driving licence and willingness to test drive vehicles with customers
10. Fluency in English and Malay; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
11. Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude towards handling diverse customer needs
