About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Advisor to join our team at our Melaka Tengah location. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving sales revenue and building lasting customer relationships. As a Sales Advisor, you will be at the forefront of our business, representing Banzen Motors and ensuring every customer receives an outstanding experience from initial inquiry through to vehicle purchase and beyond.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming customers with a professional and friendly demeanour, understanding their automotive needs and preferences
• Presenting and demonstrating vehicle features, specifications and benefits to potential customers in a clear and engaging manner
• Conducting test drives and providing detailed product knowledge to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
• Building rapport and trust with customers to establish long-term relationships and encourage repeat business
• Preparing quotations, negotiating sales terms and closing sales transactions professionally and ethically
• Managing sales documentation, customer contracts and ensuring accurate record-keeping within company systems
• Following up with leads and existing customers to maximise sales opportunities and customer satisfaction
• Achieving and exceeding individual sales targets whilst maintaining high standards of customer service
• Collaborating with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Staying updated on vehicle inventory, pricing, promotions and market trends to provide current information to customers

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry or a similar customer-facing sales environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
• Excellent customer service orientation with a passion for meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and a proven track record of sales success
• Self-motivated and results-driven with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using computer systems, CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driving licence and willingness to conduct test drives with customers
• Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are advantageous
• A flexible and adaptable approach to problem-solving and customer objection handling
