Job Overview

We are looking for a confident, presentable and customer-focused Curtain Advisor with strong experience in retail sales and face-to-face customer interactions.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a professional personality and the ability to understand customer requirements, recommend suitable products and convert enquiries into successful sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with walk-in customers and understand their requirements, preferences and budgets.
• Advise customers on curtains, fabrics, designs, colours and other home furnishing solutions.
• Demonstrate products and explain their features, quality and benefits.
• Provide personalised recommendations based on customer needs and interior preferences.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience, particularly when dealing with premium and high-value customers.
• Handle customer enquiries, product presentations, negotiations and sales closures.
• Achieve individual sales targets and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or showroom sales.
• Face-to-face / in-person sales experience is mandatory.
• Experience in curtains, home furnishings, furniture, home décor, fabrics or premium retail sales will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer-handling skills.
• Confident, well-groomed and professional personality.
• Strong consultative selling, product pitching and closing abilities.
• Ability to understand customer preferences and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Comfortable interacting with premium and high-value customers.
• Energetic, proactive, target-driven and customer-oriented.

Important Screening Criteria

Candidates with only inside sales, telesales, telecalling or BPO experience will not be considered.

Candidates must have proven experience in direct, face-to-face customer interactions and retail product selling.
