About the role

UNIVERSAL JAECOO SDN BHD is seeking a talented Sales Advisor to join our dynamic sales team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving our business growth and customer satisfaction. As a Sales Advisor, you will be at the forefront of our customer interactions, representing our brand and delivering exceptional service to clients. This role is essential to achieving our sales targets and building long-term relationships with customers in the Kota Kinabalu region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers to understand their needs and present appropriate solutions

• Provide product knowledge and expert advice to customers about our offerings

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals

• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team performance goals

• Prepare quotations and proposals tailored to customer requirements

• Follow up with leads and customers to ensure satisfaction and close sales

• Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and support collective objectives

• Attend product training sessions to stay updated on product features and benefits

• Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve issues promptly

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a sales representative or sales consultant role, preferably in the automotive or retail sector

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively

• A results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation

• Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are advantageous

• A professional appearance and confident demeanour

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Valid driving licence and own transportation preferred

• Flexibility to work beyond standard hours when required for customer engagement

• Diploma or higher qualification in any related field
