Sales Agent

We are looking for an individual to join our team at Astound Us as an Artist Representative / Artist Agent, at an entry level. If you have experience in Publishing or Sales, we can fast-track your training and salary expectations!

This position is ideal for individuals looking to enter the creative industry at an entry level, whether they are recent graduates or have transferable skills and a strong passion for illustration.

We offer a comprehensive training package which covers sales training, artist briefing and development, project management, and creative trend awareness. You will be using all of those skills and more as an Astound Us Agent!

This role is fully remote - which means you can work from home or anywhere, but we are looking for an individual based in the US. Currently, we have base offices within the US and UK where our teams meet casually.

An Illustration Agent is the middle person between illustrators and clients, so you work with the Astound Us artists to develop & create marketable/saleable work, make the connection between artist and client, and ensure everything works out during the project. There is an existing group of clients that you will look after following training, and there is a degree of new business development. In a nutshell, it's a creative sales role.

The role's starting salary is $55++ with OTE $100 ++ depending on experience and after training.

We offer full training in a casual virtual environment. Expenses are paid to travel - worldwide, London, Italy, etc. or if you need to face to face meet-up. Working hours for this position is Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

• Fluent speaking in English

• An interest in art and illustration that extends to formal education.

• Creative - a good eye.

• Good communicator, able to rebut, sell, empathize and negotiate.

• Multitask individually or as part of a team.

• Be comfortable traveling alone and possibly over multiple weekends.

• Mac and social media savvy.

• Highly organized.

• Generally brilliant and making things happen on your own.
