Our client "APP Systems Services (APP)" is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer to join their team!
This is an opportunity to join an established high-technology group in a permanent onsite role based in Kuala Lumpur, combining industrial sales, customer relationship management and application-focused solution development.

What you'll be doing?

• Identify opportunities: Find and develop business opportunities within targeted accounts across the general industry.
• Build client relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships that create and expand business opportunities.
• Manage sales pipelines: Plan and forecast opportunities through effective sales pipeline management.
• Present solutions: Deliver clear business presentations to prospective and existing customers.
• Understand customer needs: Gain a thorough understanding of client requirements and implement effective solution strategies.

Who are they looking for?

• Engineering qualification: A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or an equivalent discipline is required.
• Process and quality knowledge: Basic understanding of process engineering and quality concepts will support effective customer and solution discussions.
• MS Office proficiency: Working proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint is needed for presentations, analysis and sales administration.
• Technical troubleshooting exposure: Experience in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance, particularly in customer-facing settings, is advantageous.
• Industrial sales experience: Experience in project, system or equipment sales within industrial sectors is advantageous.
• Analytical communication skills: Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills will support effective engagement with customers and colleagues.
• Teamwork and self-management: A self-driven team player who can work under pressure with minimal supervision will be well suited to the role.
• Resourcefulness and adaptability: Resourcefulness, independence, creativity and a positive working attitude will support success in a fast-paced environment.
• English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin communication: Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin may be needed when liaising with clients and stakeholders across relevant markets.
• Flexible entry point: Candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply, and training will be provided. Candidates with relevant experience and a proven track record may be considered for a senior role, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
