Sales and Application Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Sales/Business Development professional to drive sales growth for GATI’s safety protection solutions. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships, supporting existing projects, and providing technical/application support.

You will work closely with customers and principals to follow up on quotations and project opportunities, develop new markets and applications, and contribute to the company’s continued business growth. The ideal candidate should be good at communication, proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

• Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations and technical sharing for flame arrestor, PVRV, rupture discs, breather valves and safety relief valves.
• Build and maintain strong relationship with existing and potential customers through regular follow-up and engagement.
• Monitor the sales funnel, quotation status and project opportunities and conduct timely follow up with customers.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and update sales funnel.
• Arrange and coordinate Protego & Goetze principal visits in Malaysia, including customer appointments and discussions ongoing projects and new opportunities.
• Prepare customer visit summaries, meeting reports and contact lists to principal.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or equaivalent
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Relevant Certification (if applicable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Time Management and organization skills
