Sales & Business Development

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote laboratory testing, geotechnical and civil engineering services to contractors, developers, consultants and construction companies.
• Identify and secure new clients and project opportunities throughout the East Coast region.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Handle client enquiries, prepare quotations, conduct negotiations and follow up on sales opportunities until projects are secured.
• Conduct client visits and implement business development activities to increase company sales.
• Track sales opportunities, quotations, project status and client feedback.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proposed services meet clients’ project requirements.
• Prepare sales reports and monitor performance against the sales targets set by the company.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of the construction industry, construction materials testing and civil engineering services.
• Experience in sales or business development, particularly in the construction, laboratory testing or engineering industries, will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client relationship management skills.
• Proactive, target-driven and capable of developing client networks and securing new projects.
• Willing to travel throughout the East Coast region.
• Possession of a valid driving licence and own transport will be an advantage.
