Sales & Business Development Executive

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Freight Sales Executive to join our team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, and growing our freight forwarding portfolio across air and ocean freight.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within Malaysia.
• Generate leads and establish relationships with potential customers.
• Promote air freight, ocean freight, and logistics solutions.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
• Prepare quotations and close sales.
• Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.
• Maintain regular customer visits and follow-ups.
• Work closely with pricing, operations, and overseas offices to provide competitive solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rates.
• Ensure timely follow-up on quotations and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and customer records.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding / logistics sales.
• Good knowledge of air and ocean freight products.
• Established customer contacts and industry network in Malaysia will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to generate new business and meet sales targets.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented.
• Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia would be an advantage.
• Travel & customer visits is a prerequisite for this position.
