Sales & Growth Operations Coordinator

Scherling Photography is a fourth-generation, family-owned photography company serving schools and communities across multiple states. We specialize in school, sports, and event photography and are actively expanding into new markets.

We’re hiring a Sales & Growth Operations Coordinator to support our leadership team with outbound outreach, research, procurement tracking, and operational support. This role blends inside sales, market research, and day-to-day execution to help fuel company growth.

This is a great role for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys a mix of research, communication, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Outreach & Pipeline Support

• Make cold outreach calls and send emails to schools and other potential customers to book meetings for leadership
• Conduct follow-ups to keep opportunities moving
• Log all activity accurately in HubSpot (calls, emails, notes, meetings)
• Support AI-assisted outreach tools as they are rolled out

Market & School Research

• Use GenAI and online research to identify and prioritize schools for outreach
• Build and maintain prospect lists for leadership review
• Refresh lead lists regularly to keep the pipeline full and current

Procurement & RFP Tracking

• Research county and school district procurement portals
• Track RFP status (open, upcoming, submitted, awarded) in Google Sheets
• Communicate with procurement offices as needed to confirm timelines

Operational & Team Support

• Support ad-hoc projects for Scherling Photography leadership
• Assist with photographer scheduling, training coordination, and other operational needs
• Step in where needed during busy seasons to keep things running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills (project management is a plus)
• Comfortable making phone calls and sending outreach emails
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using tools like ChatGPT, HubSpot (or similar CRM), and Google Sheets
• Reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks

Nice to Have

• Inside sales, coordinator, or administrative experience
• Familiarity with schools, education, or public-sector environments
• Experience supporting a fast-moving team or leadership group

Compensation & Growth

• ~$30,000 base salary
• Performance bonus opportunity based on meetings booked, execution, and team contribution
• Opportunity to grow responsibilities and compensation over time as the company scales
