Sales and Operation coordinator

About the company

Our client is an established Japan-affiliated importer and wholesaler of premium Japanese food and beverages, supplying fine-dining Japanese restaurants, hotels and bars across Singapore. The team of 20+ combines Japanese and local staff, and the business is built on long-term, trust-based relationships with chefs and outlets.

The role

This is not a back-office position. You will act as the bridge between clients, the sales team and the warehouse — handling customer communication, proposing products, and keeping orders and deliveries running accurately.

Sales & client support

• Liaise with hotel and restaurant clients in Japanese and English
• Introduce products and propose seasonal items
• Accompany sales staff on client visits when required
• Handle enquiries and follow-ups

Admin & operations

• Process orders and prepare invoices
• Arrange deliveries and coordinate with the warehouse
• Check stock and incoming shipment status
• Prepare basic import-related documents

Requirements

• Business-level Japanese (spoken and written) is required, as the role involves daily communication with Japanese-speaking chefs, clients and suppliers in Japan
• English sufficient for day-to-day business communication
• Accurate with detailed work and comfortable multitasking
• Genuine interest in the F&B industry

Good to have

• Restaurant service related experience
• Experience in a food trading company or logistics administration
• Coordinator or customer support background

営業・顧客対応

• ホテル・レストラン顧客との連絡対応（日本語・英語）
• 商品案内・季節商品の提案
• 営業担当との顧客訪問（必要に応じて）
• 問い合わせ・フォロー対応

アドミン・オペレーション

• 受注処理・請求書作成
• 配送手配および倉庫との調整
• 在庫・入荷状況の確認
• 簡単な輸入関連書類の準備

• 日本語：ビジネスレベル（日本語を話すシェフ・顧客・日本の仕入先との日常的なやり取りがあるため）
• 英語：日常業務でのコミュニケーションが可能なレベル
• 細かい作業を正確に行える方、マルチタスクに抵抗のない方
• F&B業界への興味関心のある方
