What they need
About the role
We're looking for an organised, phone-confident Sales & Operations Coordinator to support the growth of our Australian business. Based in New Zealand and working hours shifted to match Australia, you'll be the first point of contact for inbound enquiries, own small sales from first call through to delivery, and keep the operational and marketing wheels turning for our Australian team. It's a junior role with a clear path to grow into a full Australian sales position.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and triage inbound sales enquiries and calls for Australia
- Qualify leads and own small sales end to end — enquiry, quoting, closing, delivery and follow-up
- Run prospecting and research activity to help build the Australian sales pipeline
- Handle operational and logistics coordination, including consumables ordering and manufacturing licensee enquiries
- Help organise Australian conferences, events and marketing activity
- Take on general administrative support for the Australian business
About you
- Strong phone-based communication skills and confidence handling calls
- Ability to work flexible, shifted hours from New Zealand to cover Australian business hours
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, and comfortable picking up new systems
- Customer service, sales support, or coordination experience
- Working knowledge of New Zealand and Australian geography (preferred)
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or trade/B2B sales (preferred)
- Experience with CRM or dispatch/order systems (preferred)
About us
Envirocon® was founded with a simple idea: take excess concrete that would otherwise go to waste and turn it into something useful. Under our Interbloc®, Interbloc+®, and Stonebloc® brands, we design and manufacture modular concrete block systems used across construction, civil, mining, infrastructure and landscaping. We're a fast-moving, practical business that values people who take ownership and get things done.
Benefits
- Competitive — based on experience remuneration
- A collaborative, fast-moving team environment
- The opportunity to contribute to a genuinely innovative New Zealand business
- A genuine growth path into a full Australian sales role as you build experience
