What they need
About us
Meat Giant is part of an established South London food group with decades of history. We supply businesses across London, and we're growing fast. We need someone to help us grow faster.
The role
You'll work directly with our Head of Commercial Growth. Your job is to keep his diary full of the right meetings and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, so he can spend his time closing deals.
This isn't a script-reading call centre job. You'll be the engine of a small, ambitious sales team, and you'll see your work turn straight into new business.
What you'll do
- Book appointments. Call prospective business customers, qualify them, and book meetings for the sales lead.
- Nurture the pipeline. Follow up with warm leads and existing customers, keep conversations going, and spot new opportunities.
- Keep the CRM tidy. Log every call, keep the pipeline up to date, and make sure no lead goes cold.
- Coordinate operations. Be the first point of contact for customer queries, orders and deliveries, and work with the team to fix problems before they escalate.
- Handle admin. Set up new accounts, send information to customers, and chase paperwork.
What we're looking for
- Experience in sales, sales support, customer service or operations
- Confident on the phone, and comfortable speaking to new people every day
- Organised and proactive. You get things sorted without being chased
- Good with a CRM, spreadsheets and email
- Lives within about 30 minutes of Croydon. This role is office-based and needs reliable daily attendance
Nice to have
- B2B experience
- Additional languages
- Full UK driving licence
What you get
- A fixed, competitive salary
- A ground-floor role in a growing company. As we grow, your role and pay grow with it
- A clear path to progress into sales, account management or operations leadership
- Direct access to senior leadership
- A small team where your work gets noticed
How to apply
Apply through Indeed with your CV.
Pay: £25,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- Discounted or free food
- Free parking
- On-site parking
