Role Description The Sales & Service Engineer will work in a full-time hybrid role based in Pune City, with some flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting customer sites to install, commission, and service weighing instruments and automation systems, as well as providing technical support and maintenance. The role involves diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of products. The Sales & Service Engineer will also engage with customers to understand requirements, demonstrate products, support sales activities, and prepare basic documentation such as service reports and technical notes. Collaboration with internal teams for feedback, product improvements, and customer follow-up is a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
• Candidates should possess Field Service and Maintenance & Repair skills to handle on-site installations, servicing, and equipment upkeep.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field) is preferred.
• Experience with weighing systems, industrial automation, or similar technical equipment is an advantage.
• Ability to travel within and around Pune City for customer visits and service calls.
• Strong problem-solving attitude, willingness to learn, and capability to work independently and as part of a team.
