About the role

YHI POWER is seeking a motivated and self-driven Sales Representative to join our Automotive Battery Sales Team. This position is based in our Perth Branch located at Canning Vale. This role is responsible for direct product sales and developing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and service auto battery business in the assigned area, proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
• Drive a company vehicle to sell and deliver company products directly to customers
• Use a device to process the invoices including the cash and cheque handling
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions
• Possess good knowledge of product offering and value proposition
• Foster positive working relationships with internal departments
• Manage the stock in your vehicle effectively
• Be physically fit and healthy as heavy battery lifting will be involved

About you

• Proven and demonstrable sales experience within a similar field preferred
• Truck license is highly advantageous
• Sound knowledge of the automotive battery market
• A passion to lead and to deliver results
• Competitive spirit
