Sales and Technical Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer Civil/Structural who can combine strong technical knowledge with client-facing and business-development skills.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience interacting with structural consultants, PMCs, government engineers, contractors, and project teams, and should be comfortable discussing technical requirements, structural drawings, reinforcement details, BOQs, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with structural consultants, PMCs, government departments, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct technical discussions and presentations with consultants and engineering teams.
• Understand project requirements and recommend appropriate technical/product solutions.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Discuss concrete and structural requirements using relevant Indian Standards, particularly IS 456.
• Generate leads and identify new project opportunities through consultant and site visits.
• Conduct regular visits to construction sites, consultant offices, and project locations.
• Coordinate with internal technical, sales, and execution teams to support project requirements.
• Track projects from specification stage through enquiry, quotation, and order conversion.
• Prepare technical proposals, presentations, quotations, and other sales documentation.
• Maintain records of client interactions, project opportunities, and sales activities.
• Stay updated on relevant construction practices, codes, specifications, and market developments.
