About the role

This role involves preparing and submitting tenders, quotations and proposals for oil and gas clients on time. You will register and respond to RFQs and RFPs on client portals such as SAP Ariba and SMART by GEP, coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing, lead times and technical documents, and work with technical and project teams to ensure proposals are accurate and complete.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit tenders, quotations and proposals for oil and gas clients on time
• Register and respond to RFQs and RFPs on client portals such as SAP Ariba, SMART by GEP
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to get pricing, lead times and technical documents
• Work with the technical and project teams to make sure proposals are accurate and complete
• Prepare commercial and technical tender documents, including pricing sheets, compliance statements and company documents
• Follow up on tender results and keep records of all submissions
• Update and maintain the vendor registration and company profile on client systems
• Support the team with purchase orders, delivery follow-up and other admin as needed

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in oil and gas, tender, proposal or procurement work
• Familiar with SAP Ariba, SAP and SMART system
• Experience preparing proposals and tender submissions
• Good in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Detail-oriented, able to work to tight deadlines and handle several tenders at once
• Willing to work in Miri
