Sales Application Engineer

What you will do:

• Identify potential customers and business opportunities for AI robotics and automation solutions.
• Engage with prospective customers to understand their business needs, operational challenges, and automation requirements.
• Present robotics products and solutions to customers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
• Support the sales process by preparing proposals, quotations, solution presentations, and technical specifications.
• Work closely with the Commercial team to develop suitable robotics solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and customer site assessments to showcase robotics capabilities.
• Follow up with prospective customers, address enquiries, and support opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Coordinate with Engineering, AI, and Operations teams to assess technical feasibility and resolve customer requirements.
• Support robotics configuration, testing, integration, and implementation based on customer applications.
• Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities to expand robotics applications across different industries.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in robotics, automation, technical sales, application engineering, or system integration.
• Strong understanding of robotics, automation systems, and system integration concepts.
• Familiarity with Python/C++, ROS/ROS2, Linux, or robotics computing platforms is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of robotics AI, computer vision, perception, or related technologies is an added advantage.
• Strong commercial mindset, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and work effectively with commercial and engineering teams.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and implementation when required.
