Welcome to Salon Frei, a fresh, fearless salon in the heart of downtown Sparta. We're a collaborative team of stylists, colorists, and creative professionals who are passionate about our craft, committed to continued education, and invested in one another's success.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Salon Apprentice who's eager to learn, ready to contribute, and excited about building a career behind the chair.

The Opportunity

At Frei, we believe great stylists are developed through education, hands-on experience, mentorship, and plenty of practice.

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced stylists and colorists, develop your technical skills, and gain exposure to all aspects of salon life. You'll also play an important role in supporting our team and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

What You'll Do

· Welcome guests and help create an exceptional salon experience.

· Shampoo, prep, and assist with services alongside our stylists and colorists.

· Participate in education, training, and mentorship opportunities.

· Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment.

· Support daily operations, including inventory, restocking, and general salon upkeep.

· Someone who's receptive to feedback and eager to develop their skills.

· A collaborative team player who takes pride in supporting others.

· Reliable availability, including some evenings and weekends, with an interest in attending our Tuesday evening education sessions.

Requirements: A valid New Jersey cosmetology license is required.
