Position: Sales Assistant

Reports to: Head of Retail Sales & Operation

Through the years, The Madison Group has collaborated with the region's leading property developers on residential projects that have become the benchmark of luxury of living. Today, the group has operations and retail outlets in Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing and Hangzhou. Its newly launched concept store, House of Madison, is an expression of its retail ambitions.

Launched in October 2014, House of Madison is a groundbreaking retail experience by The Madison Group, a global company representing luxury lifestyle brands. The sprawling three-storey, 12,000 square foot space serves as a retail playground for tinkers and tinkerers, artists and artisans exploring the intersection of design, gastronomy and the art of expressive living.

To cope with the company's expansion and market demands, we are now looking someone with high calibre to join our winning team.

Key Responsibilities:

l   Shop Operation, Administrative & Clerical Support

§  Handle incoming & after-sales calls and walk-in customers

§  Understand brand & product knowledge to support shop operation

§  Prepare sales presentations, quotations and meeting minutes

§  Maintain shop display set up, lighting & temperature, customer records

§  Maintain shop and work areas neat and tidy

§  Keep stock of brand catalogues, material samples and stationary, etc.

§  Order and serve refreshments to customers

§  Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

§  Handle ad-hoc duties & tasks as required by superiors

Key Requirements:

l   Previous experience in front line, customer service, hospitality role is an advantage

l   Customer-oriented personality and willing to learn fast

l   Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, manner and etiquette

l   Team work, proactive and ability to work under pressure

l   MS office, POS and ability to learn new softwares

l   Good typing speed level (45+ wpm)

l   Fluency in English and Cantonese; good command of Mandarin

l   Weekend & public holidays shift rotation is required
