Sales Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Sales Assistant to join our team. The role involves providing excellent customer service, handling sales and cashier duties, managing stock, and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are always maintained. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the retail and food service industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, answer inquiries, and provide information on products, promotions, and membership programs.
• Handle cashier duties, process cash and cashless payments, and ensure accurate billing and proper cash handling.
• Receive, check, and arrange incoming stock; replenish shelves, chillers, and freezers with neat and accurate product displays.
• Verify price tags and promotion labels; check product expiry dates and report any expired or damaged items immediately.
• Assist in stock counts and inventory monitoring.
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food, beverages, and snacks following company SOP; operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the sales floor, dining area, kitchen, storage rooms, and equipment.
• Comply with all food safety regulations, wear required uniform and protective gear and follow workplace safety guidelines.
• Work on a shift schedule and cooperate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and basic English.
• Prior experience in retail, sales, or food service is an advantage, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Responsible, honest, and able to work in shifts and on weekends/public holidays.
• Willing to undergo food safety training and obtain necessary health certification.
