Sales Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our phone repair and accessories business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, promoting our products and services, and providing excellent customer service. You will also assist customers with phone repairs, accessories, upgrades and other services offered by the business.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in mobile phones and technology, and is confident in a sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

● Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service

● Understand customers’ needs and recommend suitable products and services

● Promote phone repairs, accessories, screen protectors, cases, chargers and other products

● Process sales and payments accurately

● Handle customer enquiries in person, by phone and online

● Book in phones and other devices for repair

● Explain repair options, prices and expected turnaround times to customers

● Maintain a clean, organised and professional shop environment

● Keep product displays and stock organised

● Assist with stock management and replenishment

● Build positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat business

● Deal with customer queries and resolve issues professionally

Requirements

● Previous experience in sales, retail or customer service is preferred

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● Confident and friendly approach to customers

● Strong sales and customer-service skills

● Good attention to detail

● Comfortable using computers and basic retail systems

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Interest in mobile phones, technology and accessories is an advantage

● Previous experience in a phone shop or repair business is a bonus, but full training can be provided

Pay: From €14.15 per hour
