We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and dependable Sales Assistant to support our insurance sales team and help drive overall agency growth.

The Sales Assistant plays an important role in keeping our sales operation organized, efficient, and moving forward. This position supports licensed sales professionals by handling administrative tasks, managing leads and follow-ups, gathering customer information, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure opportunities do not fall through the cracks.

This is an ideal position for someone who is organized, competitive, comfortable on the phone, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

  • Support licensed sales agents throughout the sales process.
  • Make outbound calls to prospects, leads, and existing customers as assigned.
  • Contact prospective customers to gather information and determine their insurance needs.

  • Assist with referral, cross-sell, and lead-generation initiatives.
  • Support agency marketing and prospecting campaigns.
  • Help distribute and manage incoming internet leads, referral opportunities, and other lead sources.
  • Track daily sales activity and assist management with reporting on calls, quotes, leads, follow-ups, and sales results.
  • Communicate professionally and enthusiastically with customers and prospects.
  • Work closely with sales agents and management to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and production.

  • Speed of response to new leads
  • Appointments and callbacks scheduled
  • Lead-to-quote opportunities generated

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Positive attitude and willingness to accept coaching
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Comfortable working in a goal-oriented and accountable environment
  • Basic computer and data-entry proficiency
  • Previous customer service, administrative, call-center, or sales experience preferred
  • Insurance experience is helpful but not required

The Sales Assistant must understand that certain insurance activities may only be performed by properly licensed individuals. The position will work closely with licensed sales professionals and agency leadership to ensure all activities remain within applicable licensing and compliance requirements.
