ABACA Fabrics is a contemporary textile sourcing house connecting international fashion brands, designers, and businesses with India’s specialised textile manufacturers.

We work with a network of textile sourcing houses and manufacturers, many with decades of experience and specialised capabilities across handloom fabrics, silk, pashmina, khadi, organic and innovative fabrics such as milk, soy, rose and eucalyptus-based textiles.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Intern who will help ABACA identify and build relationships with potential international clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to find fashion brands, designers, retailers, and other businesses that may have fabric requirements, initiate conversations with them, understand their sourcing needs, and bring qualified opportunities to the team.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone interested in B2B sales, fashion, textiles, business development, and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential international clients, including fashion brands, designers, manufacturers, and retailers.
• Build and maintain a database of qualified prospects.
• Reach out to prospects through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other relevant channels.
• Introduce ABACA Fabrics and understand the prospect's fabric sourcing requirements.
• Ask relevant questions about fabric type, composition, quantity, design, quality, pricing, customisation, and timelines.
• Identify genuine buying requirements and qualify potential leads.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain communication.
• Update CRM/sales records and track conversations, requirements, and opportunities.
• Research international fashion and textile markets to identify new business opportunities.

This is not a passive internship. You will be directly involved in building ABACA Fabrics' international client base.

Someone who is hungry to learn sales, isn't afraid of rejection, enjoys talking to businesses, and wants hands-on exposure to building an international B2B business from the ground up.

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
