Sales Assistant

Highly motivated individuals are required for this international company based in Chertsey, KT16. As one of the largest distributors of wood flooring in the UK with customers in 21 countries, we are constantly looking for talented people to join in one of our three sales teams – UK, Europe and International Trade. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work alongside fellow sales staff to create a friendly and positive working environment, with a strong customer focus at all times.
• Utilise your outgoing and confident personality to build rapport with our customers and drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge, product presentation and merchandising at all times.
• Deal with requests and orders swiftly and efficiently to maximize customer experience.
• Ensuring health and safety aspects in the warehouse are continually adhered to.
• Observe the market trend and discuss with your team managers your ideas of new product development, customer consumption habit and trend etc.

ABOUT YOU:

• A confident, highly motivated, outgoing individual
• Great written and verbal communication skills. Good skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and general IT issues.
• Have excellent organisation skills and be able to multi-task effectively.
• Be able to use your own initiative and work unsupervised.
• A fluent European language speaker will have advantage, but not essential.
• Previous experience in sales is essential, and knowledge of wood flooring or similar products will be an advantage.
