Working Hours: Days between Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (including alternating Saturdays)

As our customer base grows, we are looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer focused Part Time Sales Assistant to join our team in Hyde.

The Role:

As a Sales Assistant at Panel Hub UK, you will be the face and voice of our brand. You will assist trade and retail customers directly in our showroom, provide tailored advice on our range of panel products, process orders, and ensure our trade counter operates smoothly.

This role is perfect if you enjoy interacting with people, providing excellent customer service, and working in a supportive, hands-on retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Welcoming showroom visitors, understanding their project requirements, and providing expert product recommendations.
• Sales & Advice: Assisting trade contractors, interior designers, and DIY customers with product selection, measurements, and accessory choices.
• Order Processing: Handling point-of-sale (POS) transactions, producing quotes, and accurately inputting orders into our sales system.
• Inbound Inquiries: Answering telephone queries and replying to customer emails regarding stock availability, pricing, and deliveries.
• Showroom Maintenance: Ensuring display stands, product samples, and counter areas are clean, tidy, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
• Stock & Administrative Support: Assisting with incoming deliveries, sample preparation, and stock checks when required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous retail, trade counter, or customer service experience is preferred (experience in home improvement, DIY, or building materials is a bonus, but full product training will be provided).
• Communication Skills: Friendly, professional, and confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer Literacy: Comfortable using basic IT systems, point-of-sale software, and email.
• Reliability: Punctual, flexible, and dependable with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
• Organisation: Strong attention to detail when processing customer orders and handling payments.
• Physical Capability: Ability to handle lightweight physical tasks around the showroom, including lifting and arranging panel display samples.
