Sales Assistant

About the Role

As a Sales Assistant, you will represent household utility services through face-to-face customer interactions in designated areas across London. You will help customers understand the services available, answer questions and discuss options suited to their needs.

This is a field-based role offering the opportunity to build valuable sales experience, develop professionally and progress within a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers face-to-face in designated locations.
• Provide clear, friendly and professional information about available products and services.
• Identify customer needs and discuss suitable options.
• Build positive customer relationships through effective communication.
• Generate new customer enquiries and support sales activities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and daily performance.
• Work towards individual and team sales targets.
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings and ongoing coaching.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Confidence when speaking with new people.
• A professional, customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and basic IT proficiency.
• Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality or customer service is an advantage but not essential.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
