Location: King's Lynn Hours: Part-time (21 hours per week)

Shift Pattern: Rota basis across 7 days

Pay: National Minimum Wage

Contract: Temporary (Until end of December 2026)

Key Responsibilities:

Providing friendly, front-line customer service on the shop floor and till.

Sorting incoming donations, stocking shelves, and keeping the shop tidy.

Handling cash and payment transactions securely.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to handle lifting and movement of stock donations.

Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working on a flexible 7-day rota.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalised assistance to enhance their shopping experience
• Promote products confidently, highlighting features and benefits to encourage purchases
• Negotiate with customers to find solutions that meet their needs while achieving sales targets
• Maintain organised displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current products
• Manage customer inquiries efficiently via in-person communication or IT systems
• Assist with B2B (business-to-business) sales by establishing strong relationships with corporate clients
• Use excellent communication skills to inform customers about promotions, new arrivals, and store policies

Skills

• Strong negotiation skills to close sales effectively and build customer loyalty
• Valid driving license is preferred
• Experience in B2B sales is advantageous for expanding our corporate client base
• Exceptional customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences
• Excellent communication skills in English to clearly convey product information and respond to customer needs
• Proficiency in IT systems for inventory management and sales processing
• Effective time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
