Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Assistant role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Sales Assistant will support daily store operations, including welcoming customers, providing product advice, and ensuring a warm, attentive in-store experience. Responsibilities include assisting with sales transactions, handling payments, managing stock replenishment, and maintaining clean, well-presented displays that reflect the brand’s aesthetic. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, supporting online order pickups or returns, and collaborating with the team to meet sales targets. The Sales Assistant will contribute to merchandising, basic administrative tasks, and continuous improvement of customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Sales & Target Achievement: Drive individual and team sales performance, working towards daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.

* Daily Trade Reporting: Prepare and submit daily sales and trade reports, tracking performance against targets and highlighting key achievements and opportunities.

* KPI Monitoring: Monitor and contribute to key retail KPIs, including ATV (Average Transaction Value), UPT (Units Per Transaction), conversion where available, and overall sales performance.

* Commercial Awareness: Analyse sales trends, identify opportunities to maximise revenue and support actions to improve performance against targets.

* Clienteling & Customer Relationships: Deliver personalised service, build lasting client relationships and encourage repeat business.

* Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the collections, fabrics, prints, sizing and product stories to provide informed recommendations.

* Visual Merchandising: Maintain exceptional standards of product presentation, merchandising and overall brand image in line with Amaia London guidelines.

* Stock Management: Support deliveries, replenishment, stock organisation, inventory accuracy and stock availability on the shop floor.

* Daily Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, transactions and the smooth running of the concession.

* Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve commercial objectives and maintain high service standards.

* Brand Representation: Represent Amaia London professionally, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the brand’s identity and values.

* Reporting & Communication: Communicate daily trading updates, customer feedback, product performance and operational issues to the concession management.

Experience

* Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred.

* Luxury retail experience would be an advantage.

* Previous childrenswear experience would be a plus.

* A genuine interest in fashion, premium products and brand storytelling.
