Sales Assistant / Cash Counter

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Sales Assistant / Cash Counter Executive to handle billing, cash transactions, customer service, and day-to-day counter operations. The candidate should have good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and a positive attitude toward customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash counter and billing operations accurately.
• Generate bills and process cash, card, UPI, and other payments.
• Greet customers and assist them with product selection and queries.
• Maintain proper cash records and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Support daily sales and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Maintain product display, cleanliness, and proper arrangement at the counter.
• Check product availability and coordinate with the store team for replenishment.
• Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues when required.
• Assist with opening and closing counter procedures.
• Maintain daily sales and cash reconciliation records.
• Follow company SOPs, hygiene standards, and store policies.

Requirements

• minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in retail, cashier, or cash counter operations.
• Freshers with good communication skills can also apply.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to handle cash and billing accurately.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
