Sales Associate – 7-Eleven

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Sales Associate to join our 7-Eleven team. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, maintain store cleanliness, and help ensure the store runs smoothly.

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys interacting with customers.

Duties

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service
• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card, and other customer transactions
• Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise throughout the store
• Maintain clean and organized sales, beverage, food, and checkout areas
• Monitor inventory and rotate products as needed
• Assist customers with questions and product locations
• Prepare and maintain coffee, beverage, and food service areas
• Follow store procedures for age-restricted products
• Receive and organize deliveries when needed
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment
• Complete additional store duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous retail, convenience store, cashier, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform stocking and cleaning duties
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must meet applicable legal requirements for handling age-restricted products

Compensation

$17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week

• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
