Sales Associate

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers, maintaining product displays, and ensuring a clean and organized shopping environment within the supermarket. This role supports daily store operations by providing excellent customer service, replenishing stock, and helping drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with product inquiries and purchases.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, organized, and properly labeled.
• Monitor product availability and coordinate restocking with the inventory or warehouse team.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned store sections.
• Assist in merchandising and setting up promotional displays.
• Check product expiration dates and ensure proper product rotation (FIFO).
• Support store promotions and marketing activities.
• Handle basic customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (college level preferred).
• Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
