Sales Associate

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance to meet their needs
• Promote and sell retail products and financial services, including retail lending options
• Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers, including cash handling, cashiering, and cash drawer management
• Perform data entry tasks related to sales, and customer accounts
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor while ensuring product displays are appealing
• Handle retail math calculations confidently for sales totals, discounts, and financial transactions
• Maintain departments by scanning "out" items and replacing canceled product.
• Assisting in keeping the inventory accurate.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or retail store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for engaging with customers is essential
• Basic math skills necessary for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and financial software use
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of cash management, cashiering procedures, and retail math principles is advantageous

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
