For almost 50 years, Watson’s has been the leading supplier of Home & Recreational products to the Mid-West area. Our superstores feature year round displays of pools, hot tubs, casual outdoor furniture, living room & home theater furniture, billiard tables & game room furniture, grills, and much more! Watson’s is a trusted name and iconic brand in our business and attracts a large volume of foot traffic to our showrooms that includes many loyal repeat customers.

Due to continued growth, we are adding part-time Sales Associates (20–30 hrs/wk) to our Portage team. We have a proven track record of success with many types of people from many backgrounds, education and experience levels. Over 50% of Watson's franchise sales staff have been with us for over 15 years.

At Watson’s, our Sales Associates generate more personal income than any other furniture retailer in our area with part-time associates earning between $35k-$45k annually. Our generous compensation plan gives you a great opportunity to maximize your income. Each newly hired Sales Associate will receive 90 days of training compensation in addition to earned commissions. There is no cap on commissions, so there are no income limitations.

Sales Associate Overview

• Greet & qualify customers; match needs to products (no cold calling—100% showroom traffic)
• Close sales and coordinate delivery/follow-up
• Hit monthly team & individual goals (we train you)
• Maintain clean, priced, and shoppable displays
• Live the Watson’s brand—professional, friendly, knowledgeable

The Essentials

• Flexible for retail hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Comfortable on your feet and moving throughout a 50,000 sq ft showroom
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
