The Sales Associate will play a key role in maintaining an organized sales floor, managing transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
• Engage in active selling and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
• Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
• Maintain merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
• Handle cashiering duties including processing payments via cash, credit, or debit cards
• Utilize strong communication skills to inform customers about promotions and new products
• Demonstrate effective time management by efficiently assisting multiple customers during shifts
• Uphold phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or providing support remotely if required
• Support store organization through maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the sales area

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers effectively
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader customer base
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
• Knowledge of basic math for transaction accuracy and inventory management
• Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers on technical features if applicable
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining store standards
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
• Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers remotely or over the phone
