Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Engage customers with product demonstrations and explain features to enhance their shopping experience
• Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and cash management software
• Handle cash drawer operations, including cash handling, balancing, and reconciliation at shift end
• Support retail lending activities by explaining financial options and assisting with loan processing or collections when applicable
• Maintain accurate data entry of sales transactions and customer information using retail software systems
• Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, stocked, and visually appealing to encourage customer engagement

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales or retail store environments with a strong customer service focus
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, balancing registers, and performing retail math calculations
• Familiarity with financial software, point-of-sale systems, or banking applications is a plus
• Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
• Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and explain financial products or services
• Knowledge of loan collections, loan processing, and retail lending procedures is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail for processing cash transactions accurately and managing cash drawer operations
