We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Retail Sales Associate to work on a contract basis. The position is on-site at an Ashley Furniture location. The role involves supporting store operations and assisting customers in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to customers in selecting furniture and related products.

• Process sales transactions accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale system.

• Maintain product displays, ensure merchandise is organized, and restock as needed.

• Support store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.

• Participate in promotional events and merchandising initiatives to drive sales.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage shoppers effectively.

• Experience handling cash and processing transactions in a retail setting.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

• Ability to maintain a clean and organized sales floor and product displays.

• Flexibility to work on a contract basis with variable scheduling as needed.
