Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for sales, contributing to an engaging shopping experience for our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, maintaining store standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, enhancing their shopping experience.
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive customer interaction.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking items and conducting regular stock checks.
• Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
• Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is required.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.

• MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE and be proficient with windows operating system, IOS and Google Suite.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
