Duties

• Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and recommend suitable products or services to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers with retail sales transactions, including processing cash, credit, and debit payments accurately using cash registers and financial software
• Handle cash drawer operations, ensuring proper cash management, balancing registers at shift end, and maintaining accurate records of transactions
• Support retail lending activities by explaining loan options, processing loan applications, and assisting with loan collections when necessary
• Perform data entry tasks related to sales records, customer information, and financial transactions with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displays are appealing
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive relationships with clients

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments; retail store experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of banking or financial services processes, including loan processing and collections
• Strong math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and basic banking procedures
• Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with financial software systems
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to handle cash drawer operations accurately and perform cash management tasks efficiently
• Basic understanding of retail math principles such as calculating discounts, totals, and change
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
