Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure the store remains attractive and organized
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support retail sales efforts through effective communication, product knowledge, and upselling techniques
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves regularly and participating in stock counts to ensure product availability

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team support roles
• Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and retail math principles
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and standing for extended periods
